Being diagnosed with HIV can be a difficult moment. Today’s life-saving treatments mean that those living with HIV can live full, normal lives – but the stigma, historical assumptions and other factors that still surround the virus can nevertheless lead to the newly diagnosed feeling uncertain and even frightened.
That’s why it’s such good news that Terrence Higgins Trust is hosting some online workshops specifically for those who have just learned they are living with HIV. You can download the PDF poster here.
Taking place via Zoom on Monday 13, 20, and 27 November between 6-8pm, the workshops are aimed to help people deal with their diagnosis and gain the knowledge and tools to live with HIV.
Places are limited, so for more information and to book a place people are being asked to call 07741 321216 or email paul.bray@tht.org.uk.
