More great news for women’s football in the UK – Great Britain won gold at this year’s World Summer University Games. The twenty-seventh Universiade was held in Kazan, Russia, and features a huge number of sports – including women’s soccer, in which Team GB triumphed against Mexico yesterday, 6-2.
Birmingham City’s Kerys Harrop was in the squad, and she’s one of our Saving Lives Ambassadors from the women’s game. You can read more about her and her fellow ambassadors here.
