Saving Lives in the Second City

By June 28, 2011 January 28th, 2015 No Comments

Saving Lives gets a mention in today’s Birmingham Mail, courtesy of our Medical Director, Dr Steven Taylor. Steve, who is an HIV consultant at Heartlands Hospital in the city, is quoted in a piece about the one in four of those with HIV who do not know they have been infected. The piece was also accompanied by some timelines of the history of the disease – the piece focuses on the 30th anniversary of the identification of the first AIDS patients in June, 1981 – which don’t appear to be online. The rest of the article is, however, and you can read it here.
