Ironmen for Saving Lives Swaziland

By September 14, 2017 No Comments

The Staring Line, 7am!

Two London doctors, Will Wynter Bee and James Denny, underwent one of the hardest physical challenges to raise money for Saving Lives. Through generous sponsorship they have raised over £1500 for Swaziland’s Saving Lives. This was not without its challenges. They swam 3.8km followed by a 180km cycle and finishing off with a marathon in 34-degree heat in Vichy, France. All in one day!

It was a tough day and the training was exceptionally hard but made easier knowing that the hard work would help people living with HIV in Swaziland. Food4ARVS is a branch of Saving Lives that supports the provision of medical and nutritional care to people living with HIV in the remotest parts of Swaziland who often struggle with poverty, drought and no means to get to hospital.

James and Will are now both Ironmen and Saving Lives has yet again supported people living with HIV across the world. Congratulations to all!

The finishing line …

… twelve hours later!
