The scorer of the Premier League’s 20,000th goal, Marc was at Aston Villa for his whole career until he moved to Leicester City in 2014. He was also one of the first footballers to pledge his support to Saving Lives, making him a great ambassador for our charity.
“Football Saving Lives is a really important campaign, and I’m proud to support it,” he says, and we’re proud to have him onboard.
Having supported the Villa since he was young, Marc has worked with them since he was eight, graduating to top-flight football in 2009. Since then, he has won the Peace Cup once and the Premier League Reserves twice – and in consecutive years! He has also played for the England youth teams, and made 86 appearances for Villa.
On 23 May 2014 Albrighton joined Leicester City on a four-year contract following their return to the Premier League for the first time in a decade.Albrighton made his Leicester City debut as a second-half substitute in the 0–2 defeat, away against Chelsea.
