Champions League Victors

Everyone at Saving Lives is sending huge congratulations to our founding footballing advocate, Roberto di Matteo, following his victory with Chelsea at the Champions League final last night. Playing against a superb Bayern Munich side, Chelsea kept us on the edges of our seats all night – but pulled through on penalties.

In his post-match interview with ITV, Roberto said: “We have players that have a big heart and passion and motivation and desire. That was the only way to be able to achieve this trophy.” There’s no doubt that Chelsea played with true grit, but we’re also certain that Roberto had a huge part to play. Good luck to him as Chelsea move towards deciding who will be their permanent manager from next season!

For now, though, we’ll be there in spirit at today’s parade through west London!
