villa_stickernailVilla captain Ron Vlaar has been joined by several of his team-mates in supporting Saving Lives this National HIV Testing Week. Along with Fabian Delph and Ciaran Clark, he appears in our Aston Villa educational booklet:

Ron Vlaar and Fabian Delph are supporting a nationwide campaign to encourage more people to get tested for HIV during National HIV Testing Week and ahead of World Aids Day on December 1.

The influential players are featuring in posters, videos and a brand new educational booklet for the national HIV awareness charity, Saving Lives.

“Taking an HIV test is the only way to know if you’ve got HIV. Anyone who has had unprotected sex with another person, and hasn’t been tested, can catch HIV. It’s as simple as that.”

You can read the full story at the Aston Villa website here – thanks to the club for helping promote the fact that HIV testing saves lives.
