At the end of 2012, and to coincide with both the every first National HIV Testing Week and World AIDS Day, Saving Lives undertook a huge HIV testing awareness campaign in Birmingham. England’s second city has the largest HIV-positive population outside of London, and an above average HIV prevalence in the population. Our avengers took to the billboards and buses of Birmingham to send out a simple message: HIV testing saves lives.
